Please note that we are a cash practice. You will be given an invoice to claim back from your medical aid for consultations in the rooms. We accept all medical aids for in-hospital treatments but please expect that there will be a co-payment. The values that the medical aids pay are not in line with my expertise and we would have to see far too many patients to make ends meet which compromises your care. You will be given codes for your procedure and get a quote from your medical aid which will often be 2/3 lower than the rates calculated by the SAPPF.
We are legally not authorised to offer credit therefore two options will be available to you in order to settle the difference between what we charge and what your medical aid will pay. You can either prepay into our trust account until the full amount is reached or pay cash upfront when your booking is made. We have accummulated a lot of bad debt due to our altruistic motives and can no longer sustain the practice this way. We will try and help where we can but this should not be taken for granted.
